The Explosion Proof Heat Detector has Division and Zone explosion-proof ratings and is suitable for industrial and commercial applications. The detector is a signaling device to sense excessive heat or fire and send a signal to a fire alarm control panel. Its outputs include a localized LED and a fire relay.
The detector includes, a heat sensor module which is intrinsically safe, and an explosion proof integrated junction box.
The detector is suitable for explosive gas explosive atmosphere and explosive dust atmosphere.
Typical applications that use the detector include:
– Combustible storage facilities
– Munitions manufacturing
– Volatile chemical storage
– Chemical processing plants
– Petroleum refineries
– Turbine enclosures
– Battery rooms
– HVAC applications
