Modern technology has transformed the workplace and improved worker efficiency. At the same time, natural disasters and manmade fires are equally outspread. This is why working zones need up-to-date security systems that prevent potential dangers and reduce damages. Smoke detectors become ineffective where in a situation where there’s steam, dust, or smoke as elements that can set them off. In RiSol we develop more advanced heat detectors that can reliably operate even in hard to use conditions. The Role of Heat Detectors in Fire Protection Heat detectors identify the presence of a fire via temperature rise. There are two types of heat detectors: consistent temperature alarm systems and rate-of-rise heat alarm systems. Responder devices for heat with a constant trip point will activate as soon as heat is applied and air temperature goes beyond a specific point, generally ranging between 57-88 degrees celsius in most cases. Rate-of-rise detectors also work in a development of conditions liable to the outbreak of fire by detecting high temperatures within a short period of time. -Socrates Solution heat detectors adopt these principles and this makes it possible for them to detect fire early and accurately. Instead of waiting for and searching for smoke, they concentrate on the rise in temperature and so do not create any false alarms in places with a lot of smoke, steam or dust. This makes them suitable in all forms of industrial and commercial settings.
Applications in Industrial Settings
Fires in industrial applications provide unique challenges for fire detection systems. Smokes detectors can be triggered unnecessarily due to oppressive levels of dust, humidity, or fumes common in such spaces that most are pracquartercomermon. RiSol heat detectors were created to solve this problem by going for the variation of temperature rather than reliance on the presence of airborne particles.
For example, RiSol’s heat detectors can detect rise in temperature in manufacturing factories with heavy machinery operating to prevent fire hazard by issuing warnings in advance. The advantage here is monitoring that any small break out of fire can be strongly contained to avoid destruction.
Commercial Use of Heat Detectors
Heat detectors are not only limited to industrial use; they perform an important function in commercial space. In areas such as commercial kitchens where steam and smoke are common, smoke detectors do not perform well, which is where these detectors come to the picture. There is simply no need when RiSol heat detectors would be used because they only operate when an abnormal temperature rise is detected hence making sure there are no random alarms from your fire detection systems.
